Dialing Methods
IP Address Dialing
1. Press the “Call” button on the remote to open the call options
2. Input the IP address of the location you are planning to call
3. Choose the call quality you want to connect with
4. Press the Call button on the screen to initiate the video conference call
Setting up and Dialing from Phone Book
Setting up Phone Book
1. Press the “Call” button on the remote to open the call options
2. Input the IP address of the location you are planning to call
a. Choose a group to associate the site with
b. Give the site a name
c. Input the IP address
d. Select a call Quality setting
e. Save your entry
Dialing from Phone Book
1. Press the Phone Book option from the remote or on screen option
2. High light the entry you wish to call do
3. Press the “return button on the remote to initial the call
Dialing while registered to a Gatekeeper/Border Controller
Extension (alias) dialing
1. Register to GK/BC
2. Press the “Call” button on the remote to open the dialing pad
3. Input the extension of the Video conferencing system you want to connect with
4. Choose the call quality you want to connect with
5. Press the Call button on the remote to initiate the video conference call
IP Address dialing
1. Register to GK/BC
2. Press the “Call” button on the remote to open the dialing pad
3. Input the IP address .. and extension (ie: ip address..extension) of room you want to connect with
4. Choose the call quality you want to connect with
5. Press the Call button on the remote to initiate the video conference call
Scenarios 2 & 3: Private IP Conguration (Behind Firewall with Port Forwarding)
1. From the remote press “Home” -> “Setting -> “System Settings -> “LAN Conguration.
2. In the “Obtain IP address” line, choose “Static IP”.
3. Manually input the assigned “Private IP address, “Subnet Mask and “Default Gateway”.
4. Select Apply and press .
5. Press “Back on the remote to return to previous menu.
6. Go to “Network” - > “Firewall” and press .
7. Place a check in the NAT box and enter the Public IP in the “NAT Public (WAN) Address eld.
8. Enable H.323 ALG in your Network rewall (if applicable)
9. Press the “Home” button on the remote to return to the home menu.
10. Press the “Call” button on the remote and you are ready to make your rst call
