Dialing Methods
Scenarios 4: H.460 Gatekeeper with Firewall Traversal
1. From the remote press “Home” -> “Setting” -> “System Settings” -> “LAN Conguration”.
2. In the “Obtain IP address” line, choose “Static IP”.
3. Manually input the assigned “IP address”, “Subnet Mask” and “Default Gateway”.
4. Select “Apply” and press .
5. Press “Back” on the remote to return to previous menu.
6. Go to “Network” - > “Gatekeeper” and press .
7. Assign an extension to the unit
8. Enter the IP address of your Gatekeeper in the “Gatekeeper IP address” eld and place a check in the “Use Gate-
keeper” box
9. Press “Back” on the remote to return to previous menu.
10. Go to “Firewall” and press ; place a check in the “Enable H.460 rewall traversal” option
11. Place a check in the NAT box and enter the Public IP in the “NAT Public (WAN) Address” eld (optional)
12. Press the “Home” button on the remote to return
13. Press the “Call” button on the remote and you are ready to make your rst call
Calling to a MCU/Bridge
1. Press the “Call” button on the remote to open the call options
2. Input the IP address of the MCU, “..” and extension of the room number (example: 192.168.1.12..5678)
3. Choose the call quality you want to connect with
4. Press the Call button on the screen to initiate the video conference call

1. Press the “Call” button on the remote to open the call options
2. Input the IP address of the location you are planning to call
3. Choose the call quality you want to connect with

a. Choose a group to associate the site with
b. Give the site a name
c. Input the IP address
d. Select a call Quality setting
e. Save your entry
Dialing from Phone Book
Press the Phone Book option from the remote or on screen option
High light the entry you wish to call do
Press the “return” button on the remote to initial the call
